PFT: Plenty of big-name free agent WRs still available

Ahhhh, no need for a big name, we just scooped up Parris Campbell from the dumpster. Not even at the top, we had to rummage thru it a bit…

But we got Campbell. I’m sure he’s amazing, being that he’s traveled to 3 of the 4 NFC East teams! Guys who have long journeys in the league are usually GREAT players, crème of the crop…we’re in good hands guys, no worries
Exactly my point.

I knew we'd go cheap, but I didn't think it would be this cheap. Campbell has one season in six with more than 20 catches and more than 162 yards.
Why did you think they wouldn’t be “THAT” cheap? All they’ve showed you in recent history IS that they ARE that cheap. They’re too scared/slow to move like the Eagles.

You’d need a REAL GM to move like that. They’ll continue to pee on our heads and tell us it’s rain. I just figure at SOME point, they’ll want to give themselves the best opportunity to win, but I’m also not holding my breath

I expected them to be cheap, but I thought they could still be cheap and get someone who had accomplished more than Campbell since we're in need of a legitimate No. 2. The last time we were in need of a legitimate No. 2, we traded for Brandin Cooks. I mean, it's not like I was expecting us to sign Cooper Kupp, just someone who had showed a little more than Campbell has in his career. Of course, we did trade a fourth for Jonathan Mingo, while Cooks cost us a 2023 fifth and 2024 sixth, so they probably feel like they had already gotten their next No. 2.
