Such a "hot" prospect is this Rudy fellow, that Dallas was going to pay him to stay on. LOL.

Yet, 31 other teams in the NFL, and you wanted to experience Tampa?

Yeah, okay, I was born yesterday. Jesus.

I quit reading right there.

How does this guy even have credibility?

I'm having a hard time understanding Rudy's logic. Maybe it's because he can wear the uniform on Sundays.

Do you think TB would know the difference if we sent Bobby Carpenter there instead of Rudy? Of course, Bobby would have to get a haircut.

Maybe Dallas did offer Matt Moore a little extra money to stick around on their practice squad. If I was a player I would probably take the opportunity to be on an active roster over being on a practice squad even if the potential salaries were close.

If the money is even, I'd definitely take the spot in Dallas PS over the spot on Carolina active roster any day, but I may be a bit biased. :D I do believe we had the intention of developing him as a 3rd QB but we didn't have the space to keep him on the active roster in 2006.

Am I the only one who hopes that we ARE doing just this? You know, provided that the NFL doesn't find out?

It just means Jerry Jones is willing to spend the money to gain advantages. Bending the rules is fine by me.

No, cheating is for people who don't respect the game and its rules.

Bill Belichick doesn't have respect for the game, no matter how much he claims he does and regardless if his dad was a former scout and coach.

I just wish Florio was 1/10th the hack that he is and that would still make him a tremendous hack. Nothing like accusing a team of blatantly cheating against the salary cap rules by completely grasping at straws from an interview with a QB who really didn't even indicate that the Cowboys were breaking the rules in any way, shape or form.

Sports journalism rocks!

And now, many of you will join me in my utter disgust that Rudy Carpenter was ever a Cowboy in any way, shape, or form. He is and always has been, a loudmouthed punk.

you hit the nail on the head ! and I do not believe a word of this.

it just does not make sense.

Romo still fairly yound and he is healthy .

Kitna has a few years left

and then the rookie .

if they thought Carpenter was really that good he would be the 3rd QB...

just makes 0 sense.

only a desperate team would do that for a player of Carpenters abilities.

the Cowboys are not desperate in that area. the fridge is stocked full!

The Kid looked alot better than McGee in training camp. Having either on the field this year is a "would be" disaster just waiting to happen.

Good thing Dallas has Kinta!

As to those saying rather be on Dallas PS then on someone else's active, I'd bet there is a service time/retirment issue with PS vs active. But I could easily be talking outta my butt here on this one.

I don't much care for the Scum Devils. He is one of the Scum Deviliest. Never liked that we signed him. Glad he is gone. Around he we refer to him as catfish. All mouth, no brains.

So, you disapprove of this lad?

who just burned his bridge with an NFL team.

Not a good thing to do when you're at best a journeyman player.

Wow, the guy basically says Dallas is trying to cheat until he found out that the Pats have already done what he is accusing Dallas of doing. Now everything is ok, was just a simple mistake.

:laugh1: :laugh1: :laugh1: :laugh1: :laugh1: :laugh1: :laugh1: :laugh1: :laugh1: :laugh1:

The dude looks like a complete dumb arse now.

Florio is going to love it when Dallas goes to Minnesota and beats his team in the Divisional round.
