Pass protection is only one part of his job. They need to be able to run the football too.

This, most OL love to run block more than pass block.

Bass is a terrific player that would start on the majority of NFL rosters.

It's the relationship with Guyton and Beebe that could be a problem.

Then, again, none of these guys have played a down this year, so it might have been clunky anyway in the first game.

Bass took most LG snaps in preseason more than Smith.

Personally, I don’t really have any confidence on any of these schmos on the OL. They don’t have any Travis Frederick, Zack Martin, L Allen or even Tyrone Smith… that you just plug in and not worry.

All these current guys have warts, weaknesses, faults and more money than brains. Mighty tall order to rely on Bass to play great at LT. Dak will be seeing lots of ghosts out there. Things could go south very quickly.

It’s gonna be extra tough for Bass to play great at LT when he’s playing LG at the same time. Lol

Scored in upper 60s both pass and run blocking in 5 starts!
