The Skins just want inside info on Phillips' defense

I really do wonder if they don't want a little inside stuff on Phillips scheme and how to attack it offensively...

We should sign Marshall, learn all we can from him and then cut him before the season.

Goodfrey was a guy that Phillips had an eye on but I guess he really didn't want him in Dallas...

just dont need him...he isnt as good as the 4 ILB's already here

Its now being reported around Washington that this happened due to Marshalls request. He is in a contract year and would have recieved no playing time this coming season because of McIntosh and Fletcher.

This move allows him to find a new team with a good role for a price that suits his production. I won't be surprised to see him as a starting weak side backer on a team like the Eagles or Giants. Hes a good player, only flaw in his game is poor tackling but hes a solid all around vet.
