how can they pay all these guys?

Well, for one they wouldn't have to worry about a rookie pool if they have no draft picks...lol.

There are times when I think being a sports journalist is a piece of cake. Guy is unhappy with his current team and has a recognizable name. Simply create a scenario where Dan Snyder is interested. True or not it doesn't matter any more. He has made enough questionable moves that the average fan can easily see where one more is plausible.

Easier to be an agent.
*Scene starts out at a bargaining table with an assumed offer sheet in front of the player and the agent*
Agent: Well, we were looking for more in the way of guaranteed money.
Owner: We are really interested in your services, and we believe this offer is fair...
Agent (cutting in): *To player* My, my, look at the time! You're going to miss your flight to DC!
Owner: Wait, wait, wait... We'll see what we can do about upping the signing bonus...

Where have you been the past 5 or 6 years? Of course the Midget has not learned his lesson! He does this year after year after year...that's why the RedStinks suck year after year after year...with really no future to even try and get better!

At least the Cowboys use the draft and have some up and coming young guys to build with...

;)

As much as it hurts me to say this, we're in no position to be saying things like that. At least they won a playoff game in 05. Something we havent done in 11 years.

can you imagine the pats with the 6th pick in the first round to go with the other two 1s they have.

plus they would get next years skins 1.

Good god. The pats are setting up to win 5 or 6 wins 10 years.
Well they would still only have 2, just one of them would be the 6th. If this goes through, I'd assume they'd have to part with one of those later 1st round picks.

Actually they had FOUR.

S. Ellis
J. Abraham
C. Pennington
A. Becht

The only reason I remember that is because they took a player from WVU and Marshall...I live in WV.

It's common knowledge around the NFL that the surest way to ruin your draft is to draft more than one hillbilly... :D

One playoff game negates all the other years of total futility??

I'd expect that kind of stoopid argument from a Skins fan, but not from you... if you think the Skins are on the fast track to success, you're welcome to mosey on over to their boards, and start rooting for them...

If Washington pulls the trigger on this trade then New England should throw the Golden Gate in free.

thats very true. But what did that get them?

THe quarterback that day is no longer their qb and they turned alot of that roster over now.

So some of that experience from the playoffs is irrelevant because guys like brunnell, royal, clark, dockery that were on the team are now gone.

The big thing to me is, Dallas and Washington have not won the east in years and that is the accomplishment this team needs first before anything.

This is philly's era and their division. THe eagles are put together and managed better than any team in the east and maybe coached better too. Plus they have a premere player at quarterback, they are the only team in this division that can say that.

Until we win the division, or the skins win the division, the skins and us shouldnt really be talking to much about anything because it starts with winning the division.

That is wrong on so many levels, and so right at the same time.
