PFT: The subplot to CBS vs Romo could be CBS vs Jerry Jones

Why should Tony have to do anything more than any other person would have to do? Keep in mind..... he has been convicted of NOTHING at this point.
Yes…”at this point.”

I wasn’t asking him to go speak to HS students tomorrow. I’m assuming he will eventually get to where he can cut a deal to make it go away.

If he wants to go the distance and feels as if he can beat it, and from what I’ve seen maybe he can, but he ain’t calling games this fall if that’s the chosen route…..for starters. He takes the long route and loses it’s all over. If he wins under that scenario, he still loses.

I’m surprised that someone actually spoke up against celebrities doing public speaking against drunk driving. Would that be the worst punishment considering what could have happened? Why should he have to do anything?? Because he was clearly out of his mind hammered, lucky he didnt kill homself or anyone else, and he is either going to lose his entire career or come damn close to by having to fight for it.

Choice is his I suppose, just like the last one.

He is not going to lose much at all. If CBS lets him go, he probably still has, between what he already got and his playing career, nearly $100 million in the bank.
And, as long as he shows this was a one time thing, he will get other offers if not as good.

I don't think celebrities should have to do more than avg Joe. I didn't speak up against celebrities speaking to anyone. I spoke against forced speaking by the courts.

Hell.......just hire Romo as an assistant coach :muttley:

I'm hearing/reading nuggets that we could very well lose Adams if this offense balls the same as last season.
Lol. CBS had intervene to get him to put work in. How much work do you think he would put in at a fraction of the salary

Exactly. He's made his money and put his body through hell here for a decade. He's earned the right to be lazy so maybe the CBS gig was just a short-lived fun thing for him. Like others have said, once his insight from his playing days went away as players and coaches changed, Romo got bland.

Why do you care about how much money Romo has left after this? Why do you think any of us care? Romo doesn't count against the cap. This is more evidence of you having placed a portion of your own identity into Tony Romo.
