It's hard to feel sorry for Romo, unless he can never play golf again period. Otherwise, he's still going to get to start playing a lot of golf about 20 years earlier than most of us.

Golf isn't out of his life, he has 2 kids now, there is a lot of putt putt golf left in him...

he'll make his return, I did, just had to adjust my swing in a big way. Of course I didn't have his talent to start with:confused:

You're right, because golf is an individual sport. He would be able to do same with football, but sadly there's 45 other players on his team during game day.

Not to mention those pesky defenders:eek:

Title is misleading, Romo did not give up golf he has been rehabbing an injury to the back and unable to play as he is trying to get ready for the upcoming season. As for his or any other players free time which they all get his golf is no big deal he is not hanging out in bars or getting into trouble so what he does in his free time is his own business. He has never allowed golf to cause him to miss any OTA voluntary or mandatory. The people who go off on this stuff whine about anything Romo does. Hate to tell you guys players have a life every one of them and they do go out and enjoy life outside of the game and as long as that does not interfere with their job then it should not be of any concern to any of you if it is then best advice I can give it "Get a Life"

Stretching. Moving. Exercising. What's so funny about that?

Because the golf swing takes a lot of torque on the back. Many pro golfers end up with back problems over the course of their career because of the strain the golf swing puts on the back

Commander fan's first quote, and he's a predictable idiot:

"rg3andthensome says:Jul 1, 2014 7:2
I have seen him play both. Stick to golf"

Because that's not what golf does for your back (at least beneficially). That's like saying running is good for your knees.

I read recently that those who run regularly actually have less knee problems than the population as a whole. That could be because they tend to carry a lot less weight than the avg. person.
