The irony is - don't many if not most sports fans want precisely such an atmosphere - players in constant fear of being benched or cut for making a mistake?


How many times have we heard fans screech, "Cut him!" or "Bench him!" after a receiver drops a pass, or a kicker misses a kick, or a quarterback throws an interception?


And yet you can see how something that sounds good in theory actually doesn't work well in real life.

That was Allen's roundabout way of saying "Jerry Jones." Great players and great coaches. Seems he forgot to say 'great owners'.
