If you consider what the Browns gave up for Watson or the Broncos for Wilson, getting Watson for only 2 1st rounds is a steal. Now if he comes off his 100% guaranteed demand, even just a little, I can see at least two, maybe three changing their tune. But Synder's the only one with enough incentive to give him exactly what he's asking for.

This is the real problem, his demand for a 100% guaranteed contract.

Many teams would be willing to give up 2 first for Lamar, but NOBODY wants to give a fully guaranteed contract.

The owners really went after the Browns for what they did with Watson, the owners do not want any part of fully guaranteed contracts like other sports have and will fight this trend tooth and nail.

Agree 100%.......they DO NOT want them part of the norm, which is exactly what Lamar is trying to pull off.

So what will be the cost to keep that 8-8 team together in lieu of paying Jackson. The players they may lose could be worth 4 or 5 of those other wins you claim Jackson will get them. Therefore still roughly 8-8.

I mean this is what so fans claim Dak‘s cap hit will cost keeping better players.
Or doesn’t it work that way with other teams.
Interesting you bring up Dak.....are you solely focused on Dak? Is that how that works with some in here making those claims?

I don’t think he is demanding a 100% guaranteed contract. He may be just with Baltimore because he’s ticked off and his mom is negotiating for him. I would not be surprised if he signs a more comparable market. Interact and not one like the anomaly that is the Watson one.

I expect when he signs one, it will look more reasonable than reported but I easily could be wrong. I’m not on the inside obviously but I can tell Lamar is soured on Bmore. Still waiting for those Miami rumors to spring up.

Seemed like more of a comparison to me. I have seen many say that we cannot pay Dak and keep our other good players. Not everyone can get paid. That's the way the cap/parity works. I know I am not telling you anything you don't already know. That's what I took from Jazz's post. jmho
