I would not have signed Zeke, but blaming him now for the Cowboys running woes is scapegoating big time
Lord yes........problems are way bigger than Zeke. Hell, he had little or nothing to offer in the first place. So how are you blaming him????

Don’t forget we’re also taking a dead cap hit as well as paying him 3m this year. Would have been more than enough to sign Henry, Mixon, Jones, or Barkley
You can't count the dead cap hit NOW....it wouldn't have mattered if we had zeke back or not, had henry or not.

In fact I was hoping we had a good enough team for him to contribute...and make SOME use of that "dead cap" money. But the dumpster fire is totally complete (*as in dead last in run game, largest gain 13 yards by ANY rb....6 for 12 by cook)...and here we sit judging and ridiculing zeke for it.

That is a football type of loyalty. It also is a player advantage and team appreciated. The glue of aggressive team is being leaked at present.
There was no loyalty when he was sitting in Cabo. There’s been no advantage here overpaying their own players while ignoring the talent on 31 other teams, it’s moronic and they did nothing but make a mess. What aggressiveness are you talking about?

I am not going to criticize Zeke based on his performance this season. Show me a RB on this team who is getting the job done? Last week Zeke had to fight for every inch he gained. He has some 5 yard carries that were all him using his power. Of course he is not the 2016 Zeke, but he is behind an offensive line that has been terrible run blocking. The Cowboys are no last in the league in rushing just because of their RBs. There are no holes to run through. There is no push from the offensive line. Watch the Cowboys try to run and see where the Cowboys offensive linemen wind up at the end of the play. They are almost always on the LOS. You rarely see anyone get downfield or push defenders backwards. The don't even double team block very well. I have no idea what the problem is. Against the Giants I recall Martin and Steele pushing Dexter Lawrence out of the play so Dowdle could get a few yards. I haven't seen that blocking since.

I would not have signed Zeke, but blaming him now for the Cowboys running woes is scapegoating big time.

The Cowboys' FO made a mistake rehiring Zeke. If they decide to cut him, it'd be understandable. He's not nearly the RB that he once was.

Look people let's not blow this out of proportion if I was Ezekiel Elliott I'd be angry too I'd be mutiny too I would not show up for meetings because you know what this run game is in shambles and they're blaming the players with the names on the back of their jersey when it should be Mike McCarthy left sitting at home... I wouldn't have a problem right now Mike McCarthy got demoted as OC or fired because right now I think he's the biggest root of our problems on the team but especially on offense and especially with the run game..

I mean one game they use him for like 4 plays and then last week he's running really really well and they just bench the entire run game they abandoned the run game almost every game I mean this is not a player problem but if I was a player I start speaking out and missing meetings and start letting Jerry know they're doing it because they don't like Mike McCarthy as the offensive coordinator and mutiny's will start when they say you're losing a locker room doesn't mean on the field they're not playing hard it means they start disrespecting the rules because they don't think the person who is making the rules deserves any respect whatsoever I'm sorry but Mike McCarthy has been horrible he's been worse than Kellen Moore he doesn't commit to the run game and he abandons it even if it's working we don't need a guy to average over 4 yards for carry we need a guy to carry the ball 20 times game who that is I don't care but if he's playing well he's in the flow of the game you keep running him and Mike McCarthy did not do that he screwed over Rico who played really well in Pittsburgh at the very next week he hardly uses them at all and then the whole he got sick before the game which I believe he probably did but either way this is in shambles because of Mike McCarthy the head coach and via Mike McCarthy the offensive coordinator being the same person I would start not showing up for meetings as well I would start letting the front office know I'm unhappy with the leadership and we'll see what happens from there...

So all those hating on a zeker Elliott shame on you maybe you don't understand why the man is upset and maybe he's doing this because it's more like a mutiny he's just saying you know what if you are going to give me the big ** i'm going to give you the big **.

Zeke is a symptom not the cause of the team’s failure in the running game. It’s not like the other guys on the roster are lighting it up. Combine a poor offensive line with a coach that has never been great at scheming a run game and here we are.

Zeke shouldn’t have been signed but in the end it’s irrelevant who’s back there.
