The rookie class hasn't done much so far to be sure.
But so what....
You don't judge drafts based on rookie performance. In 3 years we'll see where we are.
Right now Dallas has found some good elements with Buehler leading the league in touchbacks, Butler being very good on special teams and Ogletree earning not only a roster spot but getting WR burn. Would it be nice to have Hodge, Brewster and Brandon Williams all healthy? Of course. Does them missing what would have been spot playing time as rookies make a big difference in their career? Probably not.
This team really did well in free agency with Olshansky, Brooking and Sensabaugh. Those guys are all A+ moves it does appear. It also appears letting Burnett, Zach, Canty and RW31 walk were the 100% correct calls.
Really hard for a team to see it's free agency class and rookie classes both be great. Only so many bodies can play. The stepping forward of Mike Jenkins and Miles Austin added to the free agents and this team isn't nearly what it was last year and that means this rookie class can afford to ride pine.
