Mcdaniels and Mangini both of whom learned under Belichek have recently had reports of them not happy with thier qb's.
Maybe it's just a coincidence I think these 2 head coaches have a lot to learn about personnel and how to treat them.
If I was Cutler I would be pissed.
Mangini comes into the Browns and immediately questions the future of Quinn as the qb and then pisses off Shaun Rogers(pro-bowl player).

Oh yes, they've been treated soooo bad. We should have some sort of telethon for them.

The Packers should give Denver a call.

Cutler is a franchise QB. The Broncos would be on crack to consider this. This isn't legit. Do you realize how hard it is to find this level of talent at QB this early in a career? Can't imagine taking Cassell over Cutler.

I don't think Cutler is a franchise QB, but that's just my opinion...

Perhaps, but who do they play at QB should he be gone? Makes no sense at this point...

I just don't get the Matt Cassel love.

Do people realize that the New England offense was absolutely unstoppable in '07 and that's what Cassel took over for (sans Stallworth)?

I think KC made a mistake getting Cassel while they have a real promising QB in Tyler Thigpen. I'd really like to have seen Cassel do better than Thigpen with the Chiefs, their roster and Herm Edwards as their head coach.

Cassel is the real deal I think but neither he nor Cutler are really proven yet. But both are definitely franchise QBs in the making esp Cutler. I'll be surprised if either fail.

I live out here in Denver and it looks like Cutler is pretty pissed about the trade rumors and is now asking to be traded.

I heard about this last night from a friend who said he'd seen a report that Cutler was obviously pissed that such trades were even thought about for a second.

I'm honestly not totally surprised that they were seeing as how McDaniels is the new coach and he's had Cassel there in New England.

Wow, that's odd.
With Haley running the show? Nothing is odd. I'm actually surprised Cutler didn't say he wanted to be traded the second Haley was named HC! :laugh2:

Haley is very football smart and very good at what he does. The problem with him is he doesn't deal with people very well.

Haley coaches the Chiefs. McDaniels is the new Broncos coach.

If they trade Cutler it has everything to do with his diabetes, cause as a QB and a leader, he has been very good.

I was thinking that too. I mean, the guy is so early in his career with so much talent and remaining upside otherwise.

Sans Stallworth, and Laurence Maroney being replaced by Lamont Jordan and Green-Ellis.

And I don't think anyone's saying he's the next Tom Brady.
