What do you call a guy that couldn't beat out Al Singleton? Don't deny that Carp was drafted as an OLB. After he sucked at OLB, he moved inside and couldn't replace god awful Bradie Jamies.

Please... take of the homer glasses and see the mess your team is in. Without any significant injuries you couldn't even win the division. The Giants, Commanders and Eagles were depleted with injuries and Dallas still couldn't beat teams above .500.

We had a major injury: Bill Parcells went senile and lost his heart. We have corrected the problem. Seems like your coach is suffering from the same ailment, yet you guys are too delusional to see it. Go ahead and live in your past. Gibbs is a joke.

BTW- Expect to be hit by injuries again. Thats what happens when your team get OLD and you don't draft anybody.

considering we have a very easy start of the season, i doubt we go 0-5 :p:

I believe I heard fans of the Dolphins, Eagles, Giants, Lions and the Packers also say they had a very easy start...

Just saying.

So, Rocky McIntosh is a bust because he couldn't beat out Marshall?

Last time I checked in 2006 we beat the Colts who as the Super Bowl Champions were definitely above .500.

Yet another weak effort by someone who thinks he's clever.

I love people who pre-maturely label rookies as busts...

Was Carson Palmer a bust because he didn't play 1 game in 2003? Tom Brady?

Its good to know that were not wasting first round picks on linebackers... like the bust Bobby Carpenter and soon to be bust Anthony Spencer from PURDUE (LOL)

Drafting 101.. You give a brand new NFL player three years to prove himself to be boom or bust. Now back to whatever you were spewing...

Hardly. Rocky got on the field once the injury bug hit the team (unlike Bobby). Rocky is also slated in as a starter going into next season.

Where is Bobby Carpenter? Buried in the depth chart while Dallas just drafted another guy at OLB where Carpenter was supposed to play. Spencer being drafted is a clear indication towards your coaching staff givnig up on Carp.

Congrats on beating the Colts. The Texans did the same. I bet there destined for greatness too.

:laugh2:

McIntosh played in every single game compared to Carpenter who played in only 13 but didn't get any playing time until Ellis got hurt. Uh, that's called an injury. Which you said didn't hinder Bobby.

McIntosh had 28 tackles, 0 sacks.

Carpenter had 19 tackles, 1.5 sacks.

Yet our guy is a bust and yours isn't despite the fact you were trying to acquire Briggs for hsi spot. Great logic there MB.

We kicked your rear. Should have won the 2nd game, but the refs felt sorry for you. Carpenter started in the playoff game and did well, better than Rocky. You are a joke!

Yet you still leave out the fact that Rocky is our starter at WLB right now where as Carp is buried behind mediocre players and just got a guy drafted at the spot he was supposed to play.

Nice try. Carpenter is a big time bust.

Rocky being a starter on your team is saying much.

Are you seriously gonna compare your LBers to ours?

Calling someone a bust after a year is ********, especially since he didn't even start playing until late in the season, where he began to show his first round talent.

Nice try?

Oh yeah, the Skins are so confident of McIntosh that they tried to trade for Briggs but Chicago wouldn't go for it. And then two of their top 3 draft picks were LBs. That's not even mentioning the London Fletcher signing. Sounds like they're real sure of McIntosh, who they traded away picks for to move up and take and then he couldn't beat out Warrick Freakin' Holdman, a journeyman linebacker. If anyone is a bust, it's McIntosh.
