Dude if you knew anything about the game, you would know that any secondary is only good as their Dline.. It all starts upfront on both sides of the ball.. Get a clue!!!

We've been to the playoffs with both Springs and Rogers starting. Both were a part of our top 10 defense of 05.

That was then, this is now... Rogers had a HORRIBLE sophomore campaign, Springs can't stay on the field long enough to have an impact... indeed, it's quite possible, even likely, that Springs won't be on your team next season...

Smoot and Springs were both the starting corners of the dominant 04 defense.

Again, the over/under for number of games Springs will play this year is ten... I'm taking the under... as for Smoot, he got benched in Minnesota last year (their answer to Adam Archuleta)...

Minnesota was dead LAST in the NFL in pass defense...

So, you've listed three players, one of whom can't keep from getting hurt, one of whom stunk big time in his second season, one of whom couldn't even keep a starting job for the league's worst pass defense...

As for those "dominant" defenses, what you fail to mention is that you're don't have a number of the key cogs of those defenses... guys like Ryan Clark, Antonio Pierce...

So what those defenses might have done has nothing at all to do with what THIS defense might do...
