Gates is the real deal

I agree on Gates and I also think Crumpler is the most underrated receiver in football. Do you have Heap so high because of his blocking? I know he was a hihg draft choice and is one of the Ravens' more consistent players, but he doesn't seem to be the game breaker Gates and Witten are.

Witten and Heap are the young bulls IMO. They are consistant, work hard and will be valued assets with their respective teams. I am not worried about rankings, these guys got it, know it and work hard at staying with it. The new IT team for the NFL.

I think we all subconsciencely know is that the people who make these lists for all of the publications (and other forms of media), only watch the Cowboys (and other teams) like maybe three times a year.

So there is no way they can ever get a firm grasp, which is sad. It is sad because it is their job. This is what they get paid for.

If I'm a sportswriter, I am taping as many games as possible.
