Phelps got his 8th Gold Medal. He was a perfect 8 for 8.

He now has 16 total Olympic Medals and 14 of them are Gold. WOW, just WOW. That's impressive to me. I know that there are more Swimming events than there are for the other events, but it is still impressive.

That's eight more medals than all of Canada.

Canada is focussing on winnign the medal count in 2010 in Vancouver (and winning in Gold as well). We decided, rightly or wrongly, to put our money into winter sports.

im obsessed with wondering why you guys say aboot and aye so much.....and why mullets are so popular....and why hockey is your national sport, yet you only have like 4-6 teams left in the NHL, and those teams hardly win anymore.

But I will say this.....You Can't Do That On Television was an awesome show.......as was Corner Gas

that's kind of a dumb thing to say when the majority of the best hockey players are Canadian. it's not like just because hockey is Canada's national sport, they'd all suddenly win Stanley cups.
