the cop haters will be the first to call the cops in any situation. Always found that amusing.

Gotta wonder though why none of the other cops there appear to have done anything to punching cop, they stood there and watched.

Pretty indefensible act by one of Philthy's finest.

My understanding is that they were investigated and that they were found to be unfounded.

They were investigated and found to be fabricated, which is why LAPD fired him. Dorner getting the boot is proof that LAPD wasn't corrupt in his particular case because they fired him for making a false report.

His training officer gave him a bad review and the following day he filed a report claiming that a month before she had kicked a suspect during an arrest. Even though he hadn't mentioned it until the bad review, three witnesses at the scene said it didn't happen at the time and after being questioned again - and even though the suspect said it didn't happen, then said a different version than Dorner when told that there was a charge against the training officer.

Dorner was a lunatic and was correctly kicked out of LAPD. The fact it happened as quickly as it did is a credit to LAPD, not a reason to commit murder.
