Philadelphia Eagles fans are the worst...

Another forum that I visit from time to time, but never post...eagle fans are still trash talking the cowboys...

This from fans of a team that hasn’t won anything in decades, and for the most part none of their sport teams have won much.

I’d love the NFL to realign more geographically just so we never hear from that pathetic fan base...end of rant.

Don't let it get to you. The best thing to do is not feed the trolls who invade your site.
 
I like having them as the lowlife counter to the Cowboys franchise. Though I do admit being embarrassed when our fans exhibit a cringeworthy inferiority complex to them.

Well, they do have a franchise QB, a head coach who apparently doesn't understand it's an 8 year process to build something, a tough defense, a rebuilt WR corps....

But, hey, we have Zeke. And a clear eye view of the Eagles being one game away from the Super Bowl.

That's just this year's appraisal. We've got a subset of fans who've kowtowed to them since Andy Reid. All the way through the Chip Kelly years, too.

I like Dak, and I liked our 2014 and 2016 squads fairly well. I don't consider it an '8 year process.' The Eagles do have a great defense that I'd love to try to match, for sure.

It's an 8 year process and counting. We haven't made it to an NFC championship game under Garrett.

Pederson has them there, with a backup QB on top of that, in year 2.

Guess he just stacks good days on top of good days in a more organized manner.

I don't look at the same way. I believe it took 4 years to get the team turned around, but that 2014 team was good enough to win it all. So was 2016. We just didn't get it done.

Too much goes into an NFL season to simply judge HCs by how far their teams advance in the playoffs in any given year. The Eagles, as an organization, put their team together the right way this year. There's no guarantee they'll be as competitive next year, that's just not the way the league works anymore, unless you're the Patriots.

I don't think most Eagles fans have a problem w Cowboys fans from TX-- in fact, I doubt most have even met one.

There were a not small amount of Eagles fans who jumped ship during the Roger/D White/Troy eras and became Cowboys fans and you can see an example of it in the movie Silver Linings Playbook w DeNiros' bookie friend.

Instead of saying "I'm weak and I can't deal w failure" these front-runners got obnoxious anout it all, shouting to anyone who would listen about "five rings" even though most had never even been to Dallas/FW.

So now that the eagles are on a run, I think those ppl are probably who they're really trash talking. Which I'm sure most on this site can understand, because no one likes a traitor-- not even their own.
 
The hatred I have for those parrot heads burns deep in my soul.
I want them to lose in such a way that it causes generational pain to their entire fan base and spreads to the 8th,9th and 10th generation of parrot heads.

It's scary that they are so close. I'd probably be on Valium if Wentz was healthy.

In my 28 years of having season tickets, the only time I've come remotely close to a physical altercation with another fan was with a Philly fan at Texas Stadium. The guy was just a complete and total jack***. The Eagles have always been my hated team, even back in the 70's during the Commanders George Allen era and rivalry. Most Cowboys fans hated the Commanders, not me. I've never seen a more beautiful sight than when Dennis Thurman layed Harold Carmichael out on the sidelines at Texas Stadium in the late 70's.

Lions? really? I don't think i've ever seen a message board for the Lions since the team board was shut down... but just type "2008" ... that should shut them up
 
And some Cowboys fans hate the Patriots, they were the one thing between a McNabb world championship, and might be the thing that stops them this year too!

Trust me on what I'm about to tell ya. Besides Pats fans....EVERYONE HATES THE PATS.

Whose to say the JAGS "might be the thing that stops them this year"?! Works both ways.

You can take it back further to Buddy Ryan and Dick Vermeil. The hate between the franchises has gone back a few decades.
