Dak wasn’t the worst decision made this offseason, Mike Zimmer was. This is Mike Nolan all over again. Decrepit D coordinator who hasn’t been good in forever brought in to run an archaic system that no one on defense fits

Rush had some bad turnovers, but knowing the Eagles would score off of every one of them was the rough part
Zimmer is gone next year, we have Dak for the next 3. Extending Dak is by far the worst decision.

He looks exactly the same as he did 3 years ago in SF as a rookie which is exactly the same as he looked in his 2nd year and which is exactly the same as was reported in his 3rd year. However, despite being in year 4 and not developing in any way whatsoever, now in just 2 weeks he will fix his poor form, his inability to read a defense, and the limitations he has in terms of accuracy due to his form.
He wont trend steadily down as he gets paid more ala Dak...

According to u....Lance has no where to go but up

Cup is half full with Lance
Its half empty with Dak

I hope people realize this is just the start of a downward spiral. This team is void of talent and 1 draft isn’t going to come close to helping. This is what happens when you have a front office that watches talent walk out the door thinking 5th and 6th round comp picks are suitable replacements.

WR
RB
At least 1 Olineman
2 DT’s
DE
MLB
FS
SS

ALL of those positions need to be seriously addressed to form a competent team around what we have. It’s going to be a long road…

No there is somewhere to go and that is to stay exactly where he is which is what he has done for his entire career. Sometimes players just are not good enough and they are what they are. We are in year 4 of Lance's career and he looks exactly the same as when he was a rookie so it is far more likely he continues to look like a mid tier 3rd string QB. Drastic improvement for him would be to look like a low end backup QB.
