Game Day Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys Postgame

40 burger! Philly fans all hyped before the game how they were still rolling out their defense and Dallas has not faced a defense like theirs and no way would Dak and the Cowboys put up points. LOL...40 burger.

That's my main takeaway. We faced their defense at full strength and got the job done.

and that was the game, there. A former Cowboys HC once said that if you commit three, or more turnovers in an NFL game you should not expect to win, and you won't.

Lots of issues with our OL. Lots of issues on defense. Still some issues at WR unless TY grooves in.
But today we defeated a team that is better than we are at most positions. Their backup QB played like a stud and made huge plays all game.

Get Hankins and LVE back. Get Tyron in a better groove over next two weeks. Get TY more involved. Get these young inexperienced CBs more comfortable. Get Quinn to realize that sometimes the blitz only hurts vs a team with a great OL. Get our DEs including Parsons to stop dipping inside and keep the QB in the pocket.

Maybe we get to play 2 playoff games. Get Moore not to waste any possessions overthinking playcalls and Quinn to call the defense to the strengths of the guys out there, not the guys from beginning of the year. Avoid Mike mismanaging the clock or timeouts maybe we get further.

Two takeaways from the game.

- Ceedee Lamb has shown he's not a 1.

- If this team does anything in the postseason it will be with the defense.

Our clock management at the end of games is also tops in the league. Books will be written and Ted Talks given.

Another nail biter. I didn't think they had it in them. I'm glad I'm wrong. Our trenches need to be fortified quick. 6 sacks given up, none made.

Tyron needs to settle in a right tackle. He had some moments where the fact that he hasn't played it since his rookie year showed. I also wouldn't mind if we used the Peters-Tyler Smith combo on the left side more. McGovern got toasted a few times.

We forced some turnovers, which is great, but, they still have an excellent O-line, who were pushing us all over the place. If we were to meet in the playoffs, it'll more than likely be in Philly. And if that's the case, with a healthy Hurts, it will be a difficult task to say the least.

They will win the division and get the 1 seed but I'm not convinced the Eagles are better than the Cowboys.

Agreed. I think this game proved just how good this Eagles TEAM is. Not saying Hurts isn't good. But I don't know if he is MVP-caliber.

Their roster is loaded. But also remember we’re missing some defenders as well.
