Philip Rivers is the anti-Romo

If Romo was Rivers anti shouldn't his record be 0-14?

And wouldn't one of them be left handed? And date only Fat Ugly chicks? And be terrible at golf?

Ah, so the strength of competition only matters in December...the month in which we struggle

Seem somewhat convenient, does it not?

After all, I didnt see many questioning this team when we were 6-2, despite gaining all but one of those wins over losing teams.

No, we aren't talking about the competition in all other months. We're talking about the Chargers' 15-0 December record dating back the past few seasons versus the Cowboys' 5-9 record dating back the past few seasons.

I think I agree with adbutcher...I'm not sure why I even try.

I really think I'm suffering from dyslexia or something. I'll go back and fix that immediately.

I'll take Romo over Rivers behind this O-line every day of the week. Rivers would be on his back, his side, and his face all year if he was our QB....

I'm hoping Rivers will be on his backside in this game.

During their 15-0 December stretch, San Diego has gone 8-0 on the road against teams that have/had a combined 46-78 record (.371 winning pct).

Since 2006, the average record of the teams they've faced on the road in December is 6-10.

Over that same time period, Dallas has played 6 December home games. 4 of the games have been against 10-win teams, and the Cowboys' record is 1-5 in those games. In all likelihood, both December home opponents will win 10 games this year, making it 6 of the last 8 December home games against playoff-caliber teams.

Thanks for the info. That explains a few things.

Whats the AFC west record vs your division?? Just curious

Lmao. Get ready for some nonsense replies dude. Now its because we play good teams and the Chargers played bad ones. Cute. Maybe they played bad teams in the playoffs too when they actually won playoff games.:laugh2:

But when I brought up the fact that 7 of our wins have come against losing teams, I was told by...well, everyone here that a win is a win is a win, regardless of how it looks or who it came against.

Are we going to now say that competition DOES matter now that it suits our argument?

Brilliant comment. Now watch as people scurry to close the door of truth.

Another way to look at this is the following.

Per the fans on message boards...

In 70% of the games Romo starts, the team wins

In 30% of the games Romo starts the team loses.

Romo wins 70% of his games.

It is a team sport during the 30% loses.

This is about one player and one player only.

The cowboys are 1-4 against winning teams this year, so I guess you can put Dallas in the Oakland,Denver,Kansas city league. How did the cowboys play and do against those lousy teams this year.....The Chargers didn't just play those lousy teams in December. Division games are a different animal, ask the Steelers after last night about that, losing to a 1-11 team.. In big games in December, San Diego gets it done, Dallas doesn't, it's that simple

But even if that is true, this has been occurring now for a dozen years or so...so it it not at all specifically related to this team, coach or QB. Amazingly some seem to not grasp this.

While that's true, for quite a few of those years we had a crappy team who had a losing record just in general. So, it's not surprising we'd have a losing record in December too.

A win is a win in the NFL... San Diego get hot at the right time of the year, Rivers is playing well too. This should be a very good game Sunday, Dallas better bring it's A game or it will be ugly fast.
