All them kids food, clothes and school supplies cost a bunch.
He got to make money when he can.
17 years as a starting NFL QB in the 21st century-- he and his wife managed his career earnings where Rivers ain't putting on a helmet and shoulder pads professional again in his lifetime.

He's not coming out of retirement to be a back up. The Colts, if anyone, should call him.

to what end? as a backup? I am in..but as a starter....his goose is cooked....never been good in playoffs or pressure situations. Indy moved away from him and went with Crystal Wentz.
IF Dak can't go for some reason who out there would you trust more than Rivers to lead the offense? I think Rivers would do a great job and give us much more production than Andy Dalton did.

I agree. this would be a good signing, that is if Rivers accepts a back up role.....
