They brought Greg Ellis double digit sacks for the first time in his career. Newman finally made a probowl playing with their style. Ken Hamlin also makes his first pro bowl under the Phillips Stewart defense.

I could leave it at that, but we already have 41 sacks this year, we had 34 all of last year... 19 interceptions this year, 18 last year. Oh yeah, ranked 4th in sacks, 5th in interceptions.

I hope I am wrong, but I remember a Bills Team coached by phillips stumbling down the strectch....to no where fast... I hope I am wrong, but theis defense got smoked by Detriot of all team and the panthers are maiking them work for it, and the boys look in disarray.

1999 to the titans.... doug flutie, rob johnson eric molds. perlis price steve christe..... ... etc there is reason he lost his job in denver and buffalo...

actually in 1999 they were 7-4 and won 4 of their last 5 to make the Playoffs and lost 22-16 to a tough 13-3 Tenn team, who by the way went to the bowl that season and almost won....I don't call that choking I call the almost upsetting a great team at the time....
