Phillips Blog: Roy Has Two Goals On Sunday Night

It would be nice for one of the "rookies," such as Austin or Ogle (like he'd have a chance to play), to haul it in. The big guys get all the glory most of the time.

Does it really matter if he gets the first first down if that's our only first down in the game? Or if he scores our only touch down and we lose? I'd rather him say his goal is to have the game winning TD. Or make the a game breaking play for us to win or have us win opening our stadium. Not some stupid first down or TD.

I bet every player is secretly hoping to be the first to score a TD. I will throw up if the first points are a kicker. Especially if it's the Giants kicker.
Preview of Hostile on Sunday night = :puke:

Wow. You find something wrong with everything.

Do you ever think before you hit the submit button? If not, good time to start. If so...

I kid you not, if either team is lining up for a FG as the first points scored in the stadium I will not watch. Even if I don't need to pee I am going to go pee.

Thank you for trolling this morning. Just what we needed.
Have to pass the time somehow, as I wait for my advance copy of your book.

Why does my book bother you? Why do you even care? Do you think this crap affects me? I promise you it doesn't. I could give a flying crap that you disapprove.

Sometimes the 1st first down is a mountain to climb in a heated rivalry. Props to Roy for keeping it real. I hope he gets it to...:starspin

I wish I could call you names on here and not get banned, but just so you know, I've called you a few cuss words offline

that long *** soccer thread we had recently was a pain in my *** having to stick up for soccer on here.

don't start this kind of **** in here because you know what kind of responses you'll get.

what the hell is wrong with you?

Well in that case...

Soccer is a great sport.

Soccer > Baseball.

Soccer is not boring.

Someone take the bait.

We win the toss and defer.

Buehler kicks it through the endzone.

1st down: Jacobs stuffed for a two yard loss.

2nd down: Manning in the shotgun, balls goes through his hands, he recovers on the 9 yard line.

Third down: Ware sacks Manning in the endzone for the first points scored in the new stadium.

That would be awesome.

And almost sounds positive.

I really don't care if we score the first points in the new stadium. In fact, I don't even care if we win for any reason other than the fact that it improves our record. Now that they're coasting into the playoffs and are going to top 100 wins, I doubt that any Yankees fans care that the team lost the first game in the new ballpark.

::shrugs::

I know that most people won't agree with that.

"Almost"?

It answers two big questions some have coming out of week 1 as well as continues to answer one of our biggest flaws from the last few seasons.

Yet only rates as "almost" positive?

That speaks volumes...
