Phillips, Campo, Gailey

That's like picking your favorite Sesame Street character.

In the end, they're all just puppets.

We all knew Jerry would smarten up with those guys. Plus Gailey and Wade weren't awful. Aikman was the reason Gailey left IMO. Wade did well, we just didn't have anyone to shop for his groceries as that wasn't his thing, picking players. We could have been better with Wade however had we had another OC.

Jerry is just being too patient with this project. He's so afraid he's going to let him go and he's going to go win a SB with another team. He said that at the end of the season in fact.

If wade had been given this much leash we would have quite a few more playoff wins at least. If this scouting staff had picked his players we may have a super bowl. He was hamstrung by the same goober that's hamstringing us now. The scouting staff has been turned over since Garrett started coaching, the D has been turned over three times, OC twice with him being one of the oustings. We are out of people to replace after this season.

I don't recall ever feeling as disheartened with the Cowboys as I have with the team under Garrett. The upcoming season looks challenging and I don't see Cowboys coaching as an asset.

Because with them there was hope they'd be fired
No such hope now
Just continued process of mediocrity

True, Garrett has not had to deal with the cap issues and downright incompetent F.O. BS his predecessors faced.

We have no idea how any of the teams on the Cowboys' 2018 schedule will be this year. The games we are fearing the most could turn into easy wins.

Every season in unique unto itself. I'm being super-naive here, but I'm of the mind the Cowboys bounce back next year with a healthier offensive line, Zeke for a full season, and a much wiser and improved Dak Prescott

Well, I'm not all-in on Garrett, but I'm more hopeful simply because Jerry isn't near as involved as he was post Jimmy. He's still in ultimate control, but I firmly believe because of Garrett and Stephen he's not anywhere near as involved as he was in the past. I won't feel totally comfortable until Jerry is out of the picture completely.

Imagine Garrett with the roster that Campo was working with. We might have gone 0-16 three straight years.

You're not kidding. I'm still stunned the Cowboys didn't regardless. Those were some of the weakest rosters I've ever seen Dallas put on the field and getting five wins those three years was over achievement, regardless of what Hard Knocks said.

I know when I'm stuck with a coach that delivers winning seasons three out of the four previous years, including 12 and 13 win seasons and a #1 seed in the NFC, it's just one of those things that rips the heart out of you. Makes it hard to take the team seriously.

I agree. Garrett brings nothing.

I am not a Garrett fan, but I don't think anything will top that horrible feeling when we learned Campo was coming back again after two 5-11 seasons.

Yep, and we got rewarded with losing to an expansion team with a rookie QB in their inaugural game. I'm sorry, but nothing today compares with that humiliation.

He ranks right down there with the worst of them..

Dave Campo won 15 games in 3 years as HC.
Hue Jackson has won 1 game in 2 years....
