Phillips, Campo, Gailey

I know when I'm stuck with a coach that delivers winning seasons three out of the four previous years, including 12 and 13 win seasons and a #1 seed in the NFC, it's just one of those things that rips the heart out of you. Makes it hard to take the team seriously.

I know when I'm stuck with a coach who makes the playoffs 2 of 7 years with a franchise QB, does not prepare the team, has predictable game plans that other teams players laugh at, is an 'offensive guru' who is forced to give up play calling and then is completely removed forcibly from offensive game planning by the GM, and who is publicly said to be "in-training" and humiliated by the GM/owner then that is something that "rips the heart out of you"

I am not a Garrett fan, but I don't think anything will top that horrible feeling when we learned Campo was coming back again after two 5-11 seasons.

The certainty that Garrett is back next year and the probability that he will be back the year after no matter the record tops even Campo

Those Campo years were terrible but in all honesty I haven't expected the Cowboys to actually be a SB contending team throughout that run. There are aspects of this team that are good but overall we are not a complete football team. In fact we are team of ill proportions.
