I like Marty but he is expendable. We could have done a lot of damage with two first rounders.

This Phillips kid is something special. I re-watched the game with lots of slow-mo and replays and paid special attention to him. He has played the majority of downs, which is indicative of what the Cowboys think of him.

He's amazing. So far in my review (the whole first half) he has made a good block on *every* *single* running play. I've never seen such a thing.

Unlike Cricket who sometimes seems like he's unsure who to block--and often finds no one---this Phillips kid is Mr. Reliability.

I honestly wonder at this point who is our #2 tight end. When Bennet is healthy again it will be interesting to see who gets the most reps. Phillips isn't as big and strong but you can tell he's quite athletic.

It's a great asset in the game today to have three good tight ends.

To be fair, Cricket has a much harder blocking assignment on most plays, in terms of finding the right person to block. It's so contingent on what the defense is running and where they're coming from, as opposed to Phillips who can find his man when he lines up.
