There is no reason not to say what took place. Either way it would appear Wade is going to get knocked when he says something and knocked when he doesn't. No matter check out the link Hypnotoad provided at least you will have seen 1st hand of what Wade said

Just watched it.

I understand where everyone is coming from on this issue and I will lose the popular vote on this topic obviously.

My minor rant about complaining about things out of your control comes from my work. (The irony is I have no control of what Wade says or does). I have a couple of employees that ***** and moan about nonsensical things everyday.

I will cede this thread to all that believe Wade is just fine in doing what he did.:D

If he wears on you at 7-3, just imagine how annoyed you be if you actually had reason to complain.

When the head of league officiating calls a head coach to let him know he agrees that the team has been victimized by missed calls, the coach has a right to address the issue publicly without being accused of crying about calls.

There is no crying in football. Wade is quickly wearing on me. There is zero point in talking publicly about officiating. Nothing good can come from it. In fact when that idiot college coach for the deadskins cried every week we were all laughing at him. Calling out the folks that have so much control over the game might just piss them off. We will see.

I saw some Wade fire and some Campo fire against the Commanders and I liked it.... A LOT.

Now before anyone talks about how stoic the great one was on the sidelines...that was a different kind of quiet. That was the kind of quiet that initimdates and commands respect. You have to have a special presence to pull that off. Wade's kind of quiet comes across as apathy, depression, confusion. I like the new Wade.

I take it this is a soft rail?

Padded rail, maybe.

I'm glad something is being said though. This stuff is out of control.

Some would say that the grand conspiracy against the Cowboys is in our heads.

Seriously though. Officiating has been awful this year. Not just in our games. Something needs to change when the officials don't know the rules, and there are 20 minute breaks in games culminated by "there was no foul on the play".

Too many rules? Full time officials? Switch to becoming a full time hockey fan? Hmm....

"Well, I mean, it shouldn't (happen)," the coach said. "That's what they're paid to do. They're paid to go by the rules and make sure they know whether a team can challenge or whether a team can review something or not. That's what the officials are paid to do."

Phillips said he spoke with NFL officiating director Mike Pereira about it, and that Pereira is upset, too, because these errors go beyond judgment calls about things such as holding or pass interference.

"There shouldn't be any rules that they missed," Phillips said. "I think that's what Mike was upset about."

Exactly what i have been preaching this year, the refs are paid 100,000 to 200,000 to know the rules, granted certain calls are human judgement, but the ones above that were blown. Shows that with no discipline of fining the refs, or suspending them or firing them like Goodell does with players, coaches and owners goes way past integrity of the NFL.

Just talking about it and getting mad like Mike P.... kissee face to Goodell does no good. You have to take action.

All i hope is that we dont lose a ball game because of the dumb refs not knowing the rules and doing their jobs. At least I spoke my peace and tried to get some of you fans aboard on a petition etc.

So, if we do lose a ball game due to the poor officiating, you cant blame me, I tried to do something about it.

I'm sick of these SOBs cruising in and single-handedly changing the outcomes of close football games, especially when the so-called incompetence favors one team throughout the entire game.

here's an idea I've got: Have an official monitoring(via video) each game who notes the bad calls and then informs the game officials at half-time or the end of quarter that they need to extend a "benefit of a doubt" to one team(or player) or pay closer attention to some unflagged transgressions in order to even things out,,, they don't have to make this public or admit they have make-up calls,,, just do it! it's one thing to have Champ bailey get away with hooking or chucking a receiver, but to let him get away with it for an entire football game ruins the integrity of the game.

I agree 100%.

I already have an extraordinary hate for officials in general, save for a select few, I am looking at you DubG, but rest can go to hell.

Throughout the league, there have been tons of missed calls but from my unbiased assessment, :) it seems like the Cowboys have disproportionately had calls go against them.

Regarding officiating, it is.

Watch a few other team's games and you'll understand why.

Someone made the point earlier about too many rules. I believe there is something to that. There are redundant rules and rules that flat out make no sense. Then there is big brother (instant replay) watching over many plays. The rules committee needs to take a serious look at the cause and effect of the poor officiating. I have no qualitative proof it has gotten worse, but it sure feels that way.

They get paid that much? That is criminal. I thought these people were professionals in the real world who were weekend warriors for five months out of the year.

And he does not at all come across as a whiner.....so I guess he is just getting tired it. This is not moaning about a missed judgement call, this is very basic rule book, non-judgment stuff....the 2+2 = 4 stuff of officiating.

I don't think most of them make that much. There was a thread the other day that mentioned their salaries. IIRC, a fourth year official's salary was in the 60K ballpark, a sixth year guy around 80K, etc. There may be some making that much coin, but I doubt many.

Either way, 60K isn't anything to sneeze at either. It'd be enough to make me want to be good enough to get that 20K raise the next year. Most of the officials I've watched this year haven't shown me they warrant that kind of money.

I just saw a clip of the Romo GW TD pass to crayton in which both Gurode and Kosier were beyond the LOS. I do not know the EXACTS to the illegal man downfield rule, if someone could clarify I would appreciate it. My minuscule understanding is that the offensive player must be at least 2 yards beyond the LOS, is that correct? If so, Gurode was not that far downfield. As for Kosier he was still engaged in blocking the defender, which also negates a penalty, is that also correct? Thanks in advance...I am sure this has been covered many times, so I apologize...

I am sick and tired of the tickey tack calls that they're just itching to make against us. Every time it extends the opponents drive or takes a big play away from us. Another thing is opposing players whining to them and then they throw the flag.
