And if I was worried about doing that or even cared, I surely wouldnt waste my time trying to on you.
When its all said and done, I will try my best to not rub it in to those who will go down with romo like the captain on the titanic
He even botched the hold against Seattle (I still blame the ball, cause that was the greasiest, slickest, shiniest ball I have every seen in my life).
However, I do not blame Romo for the Giants game last season. TO dropped a first down, Crayton dropped a first down. Fasano dropped a TD. Hurd dropped a pass, that had the potential for a long gain, much less a first down. Crayton stopped running on 4th down on the Cowboys final play, it would have been the game winning TD. The OL stopped blocking at halftime. Reeves decided to call Steve Smith "Daddy" right before halftime. The fact that Romo is gets all the blame for the loss is pathetic. He made the throws and the plays to win the game. His receivers and OL stunk it up.
Romo underachieved this year, that is true. He made horrible decisions against Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Philly. He also, brought them back against AZ and Baltimore late. It would have helped him if he would have had a healthy hand and his back wasnt in such pain. The OL could definitely have blocked better, losing Kosier and Holland was killer. It would have helped if our Receivers could have ran the right routes, gotten open, and not dropped so many passes.
Romo is a gunslinger. He will always be mistake prone. However, he will also make amazing plays and for the most part, keep us in games with his playmaking ability. My biggest beef is the fact that he doesnt run as much as he did his first year. He had so many opportunities to run for a first or for 5 or so yds, but forced up a pass instead. If he can correct this decision making, I think his play will improve tremendously.
