RUSHING OFFENSE: Another game of catch-up translated into very few rushing attempts. The Eagles ran the ball just 7 times in the first half for 25 yards. Brian Westbrook was the odd man out. Didn’t have a single rushing attempt.
Grade: D

PASSING OFFENSE: Donovan McNabb was under pressure much of the game, but even when he had time, he was ineffective. He completed just 4 of 10 passes for 39 yards in the first half. DeSean Jackson was muzzled again by the Cowboys defense, catching just 3 passes for 14 yards. Grade: F

RUN DEFEENSE: After giving up 179 rushing yards to the Cowboys last week, the Eagles were gashed for 198 last night, including a 73-yard touchdown run by Felix Jones. Jones finished with 148 yards on 16 carries. Grade: F

PASS DEFENSE: The Eagles, who gave up 27 touchdown passes in the regular-season, gave up 2 more in the first half last night as Tony Romo and his receivers pretty much did whatever they wanted to against the Eagles’ back 7. In 3 games v. Eagles, he completed 66.0 percent of his passes and averaged 8.37 yards per attempt. Grade: F

SPECIAL TEAMS: The Eagles’ punt coverage unit, solid all season, didn’t have a good night defending return man Patrick Crayton. Crayton had 3 double-digit punt returns in the first half, including a 31-yarder. DeSean Jackson averaged just 4.5 yards on 2 punt returns. Grade: C

OVERALL: What can you say about a defense that gave up 900 yards and 58 points to the Cowboys the last 2 weeks? What can you say about an offense that converted just 5 of 23 third-down opportunities? No much. Grade: F

I am so loving the drubbing of our most hated rival now! The monkey just jumped on their backs. It's gonna be a loooong off-season in Filthydelphia. Let the knee jerking commence. :laugh1: :starspin

Well at least they are enrolled in Professor Clayton's class cause I hear he's an easy A.

You know it's bad when your best grade comes on special teams. Game ball to the punter again?

how can the passing offense get an F when they scored two passing TDs, yet the rushing offense only gets a D? Plus Maclin had over 100 yds receiving.

I think the Passing game deserved at least a D+, while the rushing game deserved an F

well atleast they got one passing grade even if it was on special teams:laugh2:

nice grades...special teams: C? meh, gimme a break. at the end it says "let the knee jerking commence." better than circle jerking which they did plenty of last night.........

And the only thing that kept the Eagles from utterly failing here is our woeful kick return unit.

That was just me opining on what the Eagles front office might do this off-season. But, I bet they still think their best chance will be winning with McChunky, so they patch it up and throw the same green machine out there again next season.

The Eagles forgot what the WCO really is and were spoiled by the big play most of the year.

They could not or would not go back to what gave them success in years past. I was watching the game wondering how they had forgotten how effective their short passing game used to be. It really is amazing That they became so one=dimensional in going for the big play. It made them easy for ou r defense to defend.
