Philly game tonight

Vick is absolutely horrendous...most of his plays have looked like a comedy of errors on his part...threw one pick and nearly had another one picked...has had multiple fumbles...absolutely no pocket awareness whatsoever and has been sacked 3 or 4 times...its hilarious...all you have to do is blitz him, and he is lost.

Alot of starters didnt play, but the Jets 1st team easily scored against Philly's first team. Sanchez looked really good and made a number of impressive throws on his one drive.

This doesnt look like a very good Philly team. They havent looked good in any of the preseason games that I've seen in ANY area. I think there's a very reasonable chance they open 0-2.

Dont underestimate them. They will be there, unfortunately.

I would love that, but Carolina looks even worse and they open with them.

Well, shoot. I was hoping he'd play decent enough to cause some angst in McNadd and stir up a QB controversy. Maybe he just needs more time

Thats true, but Philly's defense looks pretty so-so to me. I think Carolina is gonna run the ball on them with ease.

If we had played half as sorry as Philly has this preseason this board would be in nuclear meltdown mode.

Philly starts the season slow on a pretty regular basis. They seem to pick it up as the season goes on.

Philly will be 8-8.

Vick is a guy who missed two full seasons. Not sure why anyone thinks he's coming back as a great player when he wasn't one in the first place.

He's always been a gimmick.

you guys always discount the Birds. Kudos if you are right. It makes for great radio near Philly.

It's philly theres always gonna be QB controversy so long as Mcnabb has a bag game or two which is inevitable

Well, at least the Jets apparently played with some effort in the first quarter. The Patriots didn't seem to bother playing defense in the first quarter against the Giants. Manning was 3/3 76 Yds TD, Carr was 6/6 153 Yd 2 TDs. Both had 158.3 ratings. That's 9/9 229 Yds and 3 TDs all pretty much in the first quarter. I know it's preseason, but that's pathetic at any point.

Philly's strength for 10 years has now become their weaknesses.

Their O-Line is going to crumble, and their defense looks lost.

I was getting reports of the Vick performance tonight while I was at work and all I kept saying, in between laughs, was how will the news reports spin it so he doesnt look so bad?
And what does NFL.com say? Vick shows "flashes" of greatness? WHERE?! A two yard run? or maybe 7/11 for a whopping 27 yards? PA...THETIC!
I have always seen Vick as an overrated, glorified idiot since he played football here. (I live near Hampton, Virginia). People around here still go nuts over any little thing he does. There is nothing more I like to see than a game that proves, beyond the shadow of a doubt, Vick is worthless as a QB.
