Vick is absolutely horrendous...most of his plays have looked like a comedy of errors on his part...threw one pick and nearly had another one picked...has had multiple fumbles...absolutely no pocket awareness whatsoever and has been sacked 3 or 4 times...its hilarious...all you have to do is blitz him, and he is lost.

Alot of starters didnt play, but the Jets 1st team easily scored against Philly's first team. Sanchez looked really good and made a number of impressive throws on his one drive.

This doesn't look like a very good Philly team. They havent looked good in any of the preseason games that I've seen in ANY area. I think there's a very reasonable chance they open 0-2.

You've got nothing to worry about right now, unless you've got individual starters not living up to expectations. Everybody on this board should understand by now how many factors go into preseason play that have nothing to do with the team you'll ultimately field.

You should have every confidence that, when the regular season rolls around, you'll field another tough, experienced team that's not capable of winning any championships.

Well, at least the Jets apparently played with some effort in the first quarter. The Patriots didn't seem to bother playing defense in the first quarter against the Giants. Manning was 3/3 76 Yds TD, Carr was 6/6 153 Yd 2 TDs. Both had 158.3 ratings. That's 9/9 229 Yds and 3 TDs all pretty much in the first quarter. I know it's preseason, but that's pathetic at any point.

3 for 3 for 76 yards. A dump off to Boss went for 44 of those. Their boards have their chests all puffed out and proud one of their wide receivers caught a pass longer than 20 yards. :laugh2:

Philly might start slow, but the first team usually looks great in the preseason. The area where they should be concerned is defense.

Ya'll are high.. Philly has been the polar opposite of Dallas for ten years.. They start slow or they have 2 or 3 bad games during the middle of the year.. But come December they win..

We as Dallas Fans are in no position to criticize the Eagles especially since they stumped a mole hole in our *** in the last game. And I also think the NFL schedule makers will continue to put the Eagles on our schedule in December until we beat them. Only a fool would judge the Eagles based on their preseason performance.

Preseason means nothing, but we can judge the Eagles all we want, mudhole and all. That's what people do this time of year, judge and predict.

I absolutely LOVE the Philly/Vick love and hype. Sanchez looked much better (at the small and large things) than Vick as a professional QB. I can't wait for McNabb to become frustrated over Andy Reed getting "Vick Greedy" with gadget and trick plays.

While I agree that it's to early to dismiss Philly based on pre-season, I do think most are giving them far too much undeserved hype

Well, shoot. I was hoping he'd play decent enough to cause some angst in McNadd and stir up a QB controversy. Maybe he just needs more time

Their season starts with a couple of tough teams. Yeah Carolina hasn't looked good in pre-season but Lions were 4-0 in pre-season last year so... that's why they play the games.

They have @Carolina, New Orleans, KC, BYE. If they start 1-2, I think fans scream for Vick during the bye haha. They have a couple of winnable games after that against tampa bay and Oakland which, if you were gonna switch QBs, this would be the best time.

After that their schedule gets a bit tougher: @WAS, NYG, DAL, SD, @CHI, WAS, @ATL, @NYG, then 2 winnable games against SF and DEN, then finish @DAL.

That 8 game stretch starting Week 7 could be what makes/breaks their team this year and/or decides which QB is at the helm.

Some assistant coaches are irreplaceable and I think he's probably one of them.
