Young Lady you know this is the NFL. There aint no gimmes in this league. I do like how the league managed to give them the bye week before they have to play on Thursday night.. That is just garbage.. Every team has to play at least one game on short rest.. except the Eagles.. Good lord..

It all looks good for us on Christmas Eve. The Eagles got the shaft on the week they play us.

Dallas will be 20 pt fav too.. .and may win by 100, as houston will be completely checked out vying for draft picks by time we play them.

Well we kinda did.. Even though we didn't win we did show that we can hunker down and run it down their throats just like they can do to us.. only our QB the next time won't be the backup. But yeah I agree the 3rd quarter comeback was impressive and instructional, but you can't puff your chest out if you don't seal the deal.. But the way they did it showed me something.. The defense clamped down and the offense put on the big boy pants and played smash mouth. They just didn't have enough left in the tank to pull out the win.. Especially if the backup was going to throw a crushing pick late in the game.. It is what it is.. They won.. they are unbeaten and in first place.. But I saw how the Cowboys can beat them in that game.. We'll see won't we...

That's really my only point.

You can't brag that we are going to beat them with Rush because they are overrated and not all that great and then turn around and say, oh man, they got lucky because we didn't have Dak.

That is an interesting game. And it's in mid-December so maybe it's pretty cold.

I just don't trust Fields to have to make passes though when it matters. And in that game, he's probably going to have to make some plays in the passing game as I don't think the Bears have much of a chance of stopping the Eagles O.

It is funny to see all of the Philly trashing and to use their schedule really makes it goofy.

I don't know if you've checked it out but every prediction about "Hurts is a joke", "Brown won't help" or anything else they did to actually improve their team has been wrong by the "Blue Glasses Group". These are the fans that look at the league through their own fanhood and struggle giving any other team credit.

Philly was a good team last season with a struggling QB and he improved and they improved and haven't just relied on the additions in the off season. Think adding Quinn to that front 7 won't reap dividends? They've proven as well as any team their ability to acclimate and implement new players into their team concept.

The Eagles are a damned good team and while I am not a fan of their HC, I'd love the guy if I were an Eagles fan.

You said we would expose them the week before when Rush was our QB. We didn’t. You can’t stick out your chest and say we’ll beat them with Rush and then weeks later whine that we didn’t have Dak. LOL.

And the teams this year are much different than the teams last year. We have a chance for redemption in December.

You must have me confused for someone else. I wasn’t confident that we’d beat them with Rush but I knew we could at least hang with them, which we did.

I was confident before the season that we were still the best team in the division when healthy, and I still am.

At one time I tuned into all of those football shows and watched the pregame shows religiously. Now I just tune into the pregame shows every now and then. I save my viewing time for the actual games. Sometimes I will tune into the sports shows after a Cowboys win to see highlights. I do listen to the NFL channel and other sports channels on Sirius radio commuting to and from work.

The media is already talking the Eagles up as the NFC representative. I was listening to the NFL Network this morning and they were debating over whether it would be KC or Buffalo playing the Eagles in the Superbowl. They were actually talking about how the 2 teams would match up against the Eagles. The Eagles fans are just as bad if not worse. I follow an Eagles forum that are comprised of guys that I used to debate with on the old Fort Worth Star Telegram Cowboys Forum. They don't see any team in the NFC as a threat.

That’s perfect. Exactly what we want. So when they get taken out after their first round bye ( Hopefully by us) the pain will be at max level.
