I live 10 minutes outside Philly and listen to WIP610 and their reporter Gary Cobb said Philly is trying very hard to land Fitzgerald from the Cards. They are reporting that they may deal Lito Sheppard and their #19th pick in this years draft and possible more.

I'll try to keep you guys updated.

If that happens, the Cowboys better do something in response!

If it's true, I give the Eagles credit for trying to improve their team.

And actually spending some money!

Why in the world would I want to make you moon someone?

I could dare you to moon someone. I dare you to moon Dan Snyder.

Children, stop!

Now, I can care less what people are reporting but Moss deal has not been offical! The Cowboys have to fight fire with fire! Philly makes a huge move, the Cowboys need to do the same.

The Cowboys have made huge moves already..

Retaining Hamlin, Barber tender, Canty Tender, resigning Flozell. If we move Ferguson and free up some cap space I could see a mid level acquisition in a few weeks after the crazy dollars have gone down

Also, they already upgraded a ILB spot with Thomas over Akin.

We have been VERY busy so far

From this thread - http://cowboyszone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=113759 - the Skaven

Signing a cornerback doesn't help the Eagles' inability to score points. Trading for Fitzgerald would. I'd really hate to see Fitz in Eagle green.

Keep in mind one thing - with his contract, he basically has veto power over any deal. The Eagles are notoriously cheap, they're going to have to pony up cash if they want him.

Your right about the veto power. I really think Arizona is either going to have to pony up the cash for the next 2 years or just let him walk.

Thank you. Goodness knows I've tried to keep the two of 'em in control. :bang2:

Comcast sports is reporting that Philly has a deal in place for Asante Samuel and Larry Fitzgerald. They said that Dallas is trying to play catch up by making offers to Atlanta for Hall and to the Lions for Williams.
They also said Jerry has spoken directly to Randy Moss but has Roy Williams as a back up as everyone expects Randy to resign with the patriots.
They said that Atlanta is trying to sign a big name running back and if that happens they will no longer be interested in Darren McFadden and that their #3 pick could be part of a trade that could involve Ayodele, Ferguson and two first round picks for hall and the #3 overall pick.

I think we might be giving up WAYYYY to much. I think we should get one of their 2nd rounders as well.

I just can't see the Cards trading Fitzgerald. If they do they surpass Matt Millen in stupidity.
