Both teams did play flat though and not up to par. I still liked the playoff atmosphere however.

You're right... there were bad calls on both sides. But that charge on Stoudamire at the end of the game when he barreled into Kurt Thomas but got the call instead was an absolute killer.

The thing that really killed the Spurs, though, was when they were up by 5 late and couldn't extend it to 7 on two separate possessions. Then Nash comes down and hits the deep 3. I knew they were in trouble at that point.

Good game all in all, though. What you expect when these two teams meet.

Yeah and if anything, I feel the Suns had to step it up a higher gear to beat them because the intensity with San Antonio never stops it seems.

Spurs and Lakers fans always say that. It's true they CAN beat the Suns in a 7 game series, just we the Suns CAN beat them as well. I hate how people write them off so soon.

(if anyone has smash bros lemme know we will battle online!!).
