As much as I hate to agree with one of the worst GM's in football, I actually don't think we are that far off in the front 7. I was definitely expecting more resources spent on the line though... was hoping to have added two by now.

the front 7 IS fine.
people saying otherwise believe we cut ratliff, let spencer go and don't resign hatcher.

then we'd be really in need of DL.

not sure i believe we lose any of those 3 guys.

we reached for need with frederick. can't do that in every round or at every position.

I am sure Sean Lissemore approves of the pick, since it is from his alma maer, William and Mary.

Looks pretty good on the highlight film (doesn't everyone, though).

I never heard of the guy. But, welcome aboard and good luck.

We got a slow DB to cover our slow WR.

They must have some DL guys targeted in later rounds,,, I think Jerry has become enamored with snatching up late round DL guys after the small successes with Rat and Brent and Lissemore, etc.

Well, somebody had to replace Jenkins, right?

Just watched the highlight film. This kid understands angles and plays violently. I like it. He's very agile and tenacious.

already discussed dallas loves agility drills.

this guy had 2nd best short shuttle in combine history.

1st is carlos rogers, 3rd is casey hayward.

might be able to play cb a bit if you dominate short shuttle.

Casey Hayward is awesome. Well see. I shall not pass judgement on this draft...just yet lol

I will admit, I didn't do much research on CBs this year. But after watching that highlight tape (yea, I know, everyone looks good on their highlight reel) he looks very intriguing. He plays violent, wraps up in the open field, has good ball skills, and looks to be instinctive. His only knock apparently is that he's not great in press man coverage, which we won't be doing often in the Tampa 2 style coverage we're running. Looks to be a great pick and from what I'm reading it is outstanding value in the 4th.

Some of you scream BPA BPA BPA, then whine when we do it.

This guy will contribute, IMO.

I know I'm in the minority, but I am liking this draft so far.

It is fine. Fine that Ratliff's play has declined that last few years, is injury prone. Hatcher is not a world beater at DE, much less DT. The depth behind them is average at best. But ya, we are so fine.

I could've sworn we got rid of Jenkins, meaning, we're thin at corner. And thin at corner means you are doomed in a pass-happy NFL. Injuries happens to corners a lot, so don't take that position lightly.

But I'm like the other guys, BUILD FROM INSIDE OUT JERRY, FROM INSIDE OUT. I preach this year after year, but Jerry doesn't seem to read this board very much. :D

It's the 4th round. Probably BPA.

No instant starters.

I think we sign one of the free agent tackles in free agency, now on the Dline idk we definitely need a big body mammoth in the middle 1 tech

I get the value, I just think think as deep as this draft is in the trenches (that's all we heard leading up to the draft) we haven't really attempted to go that route. It boggles me, especially when that is where our most glaring holes are.
