According to a tweet by Josh Ellis, Jerry indicated that Dallas liked LB Bobby Wagner and he may have been the pick at 45 if they had kept the pick. He was taken two picks later by Seattle.

I like Wagner too but not as much as some others at 45. Konz, Reyes, Worthy.

It's a good thing we traded the pick.

Imagine the whining around here if Dallas' first two picks were Brockers and Wagner.

And the complaints that they were Jerry's picks.

Do you still project the 'boys to go 9-7?

.........I still have to wonder if we wouldn't have been better off with Kirkpatrick at 14 and WORTHY at 45..........instead of Claiborne at 6 and Crawford at 81........hmmmmmmmmmmmmm............let the debate begin.

(I will say this:Mayock said Kirkpatrick's attitude was a concern. Essentially said this morning that Saban had to keep Dre under his thumb the WHOLE time at Bama........and it was cause for concern.

I have to update my sig after the draft.

8-8.

They went 8-8 with less talent and also gave away a few games.

I say 11-5 next season.

I'm all for Best Player Available but Dallas is taking it to another level. Picking another ILB would have been too much.

Glad we traded up in RD1. Might want to do that every year if we're just going to pick ILBs.

I think 10-6 is what i'm hoping for but I could see 9-7
I think this team is significantly better than last year.
I also think the schedule is significantly harder.
We'll see!

You are kidding right? Claiborne alone is better than Kirkpatrick and Worthy. People are really sleeping on Tyrone Crawford.

If you watch any Boise State games, this kid is all over the field. McClellin may get all the pub, but Crawford was just as effective, even as a rotational guy.

And this is coming from a big McClellin fan.
