I think you go Dupree. You take someone who has the ability to be a 4-3 DE over virtually anything other then a QB or a franchise LT. Brown potentially passes Dupree if they see him as a starting 3tech as opposed to a 1 tech you think has some pass rush.

Dupree. The others may be safer and better football players early on, but Dupree's potential tips the scales. What the other guys provide, you can find something similar enough in RD2 or 3. There isn't a DE available later that can approach Dupree.

And c'mon...'Bud Dupree' just sounds like a guy who plays on D for the Cowboys.

Dupree has the best metrics and production of any pass rusher in this draft. OO is close athletically but his production is poor relative to Dupree and the other 4-5 better pass rushers. This is based on the SPARQ score correlated to production. Character concerns etc aside.

I like Brown but we probably don't need a DT although he's an upgrade over all including Crawford IMO.

I just like pass rusher then DB as the best bets for the defense.

Dupree over Erving .... but if we took Cameron the vacancy that Parnell left isn't only fixed but actually upgraded. Could the win start over Doug Free as a Rookie. Plus Dallas would have the best backup Center in the NFL.

That said, noway Cowboys pulls the trigger on another 1st round Olineman this year....rite?

I have no problem with anyone choosing Dupree.

However I will ask this...do people think Dupree is the real deal or Brown is the real deal.

If both were to become ProBowl or All Pro players than you could argue that Dupree is who should be taken.

In other words if all things were equal you would take the pass rushing DE over the DT who might also be a pass rusher.

However, I personally think Brown will be the better player so I choose Brown over Dupree.

I take the DT who pushes the pocket.
