A lot of you seem to think Gurley could be there at 27. Surprising

Other teams needs are greater then RB, if teams go BPA I think he is gone but needs there is a chance. Arizona, Chargers Baltimore scare me the most.

As they should. Can't see any of them passing on him, let alone all three.

Browns, Vikes (if AP goes), maybe Miami...etc

You guys love Byron Jones....I'm not sold on him at all

If you go by some of the write-ups then you wouldn't like Jones, but just watching his game footage I can't find much not to like. He is the guy that I would want defending the big WRs which are starting to dominate the NFL. I think Kevin Johnson is going to be bullied by the big receivers and Johnson is more a duplicate skill set to Scandrick.

Unfortunately:

1) Byron Jones
2) Kevin Johnson
3) Marcus Peters
4) Melvin Gordon
5) Mario Edwards

About the only one of these five that I could feel remotely positive about would be Gordon.

I am hoping for a trade down. I would not even care if it is completely out of the round. I am just not optimistic about most of what I believe to be around at our selection.

I see a lot of interest on here in Byron Jones. Haven't really looked into him. Looks good, tall physical and athletic. Is he any good?

He has the tools and while he tests through the roof athletically, I think too many evaluators are over reacting to it. If you looked at rankings at the end of the season, he was nowhere near being a first round type talent.

However, I prefer him by a wide margin to Kevin Johnson who I just do not care for at all.

Drafting a CB in the first round is like kissing your ugly cousin who has a hairlip, but since we are almost ordained to do so, Jones is as good as any other I suppose.

Byron Jones looks like a FS to me. Not saying that's good or bad.

I think some player is going to fall to us, but if that doesn't happen, I really hope we trade down.

• Marcus Peters
• Cam Erving
• Jalen Collins
• Byron Jones
• TJ Clemmings

Rankings by whom? To be fair, I don't most internet scouts had watched much of him at all. As soon as he blew up the Combine, people started watching him and realized he has some skills.

His game footage looks good to me. I don't see many faults. He is a guy that I think can battle the big receivers for contested balls. He is 6-1, 200 with better than average arm length and he a super athlete. He also played Safety so he does not shy away from contact.

I was surprised watching him play. I expected an athlete playing football, but he does look good out there. As far as first round CBs, I think he's the only one I'd sign off . He does look a lot like a safety as well

He supposedly is being looked as a man press CB by most of the teams. This again brings us back to square one, where we have been with Claiborne and Carr.

Why are we continuing to force press cornerbacks into a predominantly zone scheme?

I'll add two dark horses. Mario Edwards and I hope not but Demarious Randle

PS I would not be upset with the best OL on the board who I expect to be the top ranked player left on their board.

If Malcom Brown available please let it happen
Gurley
OO DE would be a great asset to the line
IMO trade down if these guys are gone, the CB you get later with the trade will not be vastly different after the trade.
