IMO it was more "don't care what you say, we'll know the answers later on" born of age \ wisdom having seen these movies before.

Plus he’s in a contract year. So if he doesn’t perform and act a fool,it will diminish his Bag. You would think/ Hope he gets that. The talent is there. He can set himself up for a massive payday or cost millions. Dallas is certainly the stage to show out.
