Pickens wasn't the problem

The Cowboys put up 30 points Thursday night. Pickens and the offense wasn’t the problem. The defense is still the issue.
That's half true,

first of all,

don't coddle and enable Pickens, he was a big problem, maybe you forgot the fumble that they got lucky around the end zone to get back, this has been happening too much with the fumbles, not just by him, with a lot of our teammates ,but the interception that bounced off his hands was on him, the penalty was on him, the loafing and the half speed routes are on him, the lack of effort to go for that ball that hit the ground he didn't lose that in the lights, he was double covered, and gave up on the play, and just watched the ball hit the ground by his feet without even flinching!!!!

hell even one of us playing pick up ball, would have Dove for that ball, or at least would have looked up and reached out for it ,

this man had his worst game as a cowboy,

but it's not the first time he's creating an interception or a fumble ,it's not the first time he loafed on a play, his 1st two games here he did the same thing, He was called out by his coaches, not online behind the scenes, he got it righ,t and you're right he's been on a tear lately, but Thursday night, he had a terrible game, and yes part of it was on him ,and on the fumbles by his teammates ,even on offense they didn't block Well, they didn't catch the ball, they didn't hold on to the ball, and they didn't focus, outside of Prescott and lamb the offense also had problems.

I get what you're saying, yes the defense if they were even 50% better like they have in the last couple of games ,we probably win this game,

but we didn't but the fact is we could have scored 50, I know it sounds weird, but all those fumbles and all those bad plays ,and the short fields, they also put our defense in, and I realize it that's not an excuse for the defense, but it's a reality can't keep giving the defense short fields to have to defend, between the special teams and our offense,

I think they were playing on our side of the 50 the whole entire game that's what it felt like..

But yes, why we're at it,

I'm gonna blame some of the special teams,

short fields kill teams,

it makes it way too easy when they only have to play half the field and our offense has to play the entire field..

So yes, offense defense special teams they all lost this game but yeah, the defense being the worst, but man don't forget the special teams and the coaching.

I finished with George Pickens he had his worst game as a cowboy he is part of our problem on Thursday night..

I think you counted all the bad plays that he had in that gam,e we called him negative plays, not just the ones you can see, the ones that you had to go back and see later ,that he wasn't running his routes at full speed, he wasn't selling like a 9 route that way when he stopped and went to the out route, that he would like trick the DB, no the DB could cover him all night, because he was lazy, It was his worst game of his Dallas Cowboy tenure, and that's why people are calling him out,

But no he's not the sole reason we lost the game but but neither is Prescott he's got his own special hate thread....

lol..

Dak literally has the best 1-2 WR combination in the league…

Flournoy got a walk in TD on a blown Detroit coverage. Dak fanboys love to give Dak credit for that one and blame the Dallas defense, but don’t blame the Detroit defense for giving Flournoy a walk in TD from like 50 yards away.

He gave Detroit an easy TD off his INT to Pickens.

The league has set a record this year in terms of these types of comebacks by a long shot. It’s either VEGAS or defenses are all overall bad.

Thirty points isn't that much anymore when you're down by two scores most of the game.
Well yes,
so you're agreeing that he's blaming the defense more than Pickens,

but the special teams the coaching all the drops by our offense, like interceptions that were not on Prescott, the fumbles even the fumbles, that they got lucky to get back from Pickens,

I mean this is happening far too much but they could have scored more than 30, that's my point, it is partly on Pickens, and some of the other offensive players, like Ferguson..

They had bad games, the offensive line had bad games, they could have put up fifty.

Some exaggerating and hypothesizing, because that's all we can do, but if they don't drop those balls, Prescott did all he could to get those players the ball ,and then they turn around and they create interceptions, and fumbles, and negative plays and penalties!!!!

so yeah we could have scored more this would have been more like the Seattle game a couple years ago I don't remember the score but it was in the 30s on both teams and Dak got pulled it out, our defense made enough stops late in that game to do so,

In this game it didn't happen our defense got worse as the game went on I mean after we pulled within three points,

30-27

In my opinion, that's a new game, you have approximately 10 minutes left ,now for the defense to have seen everything they're going to see from the Lions to adjust, get aggressive ,they should have set 11 on every play, yes I'm exaggerating again ,but that's what we're doing exaggerating but what they do they give up 14 easy points after that it ,was like there's no resistance,

I get it mostly it was on the defense but if our offense doesn't shoot themselves in the foot we easily could have probably like I said probably hypothetically win 37-30 or something..

Yes,

that's a lot to ask it's a ridiculous notion to say well you should have scored 45, but the fact is, we saw it they could have too many short fields for our defense, because of those turnovers ,so you get those turnovers back, they can turn into 9 points minimum maybe 14.... And then the Lions don't score 44, and there you go, you could still win that game had your offense not shot themselves in the foot, even though yes, the defense is the most to blame...
