Yep. Of course you want the highest seed possible, but sometimes you get in that tricky situation where you really want someone like a 1-tech but where you're picking in the 1st round is too early to take one and the one you want probably won't fall to you in the 2nd. I don't mind the late pick. We can get a good player.

But I'm also a fan of having the fifth year option that's included in all first round contracts.

That fifth year is great and very affordable once you are outside of the top ten selections.
