Picking my number.

I dont like QB's wearing double digits, besides maybe Marino.'

I'd go with 7, 3, or 5.

Do something even better. Wear a number that doesn't have a Cowboys QB attached to it that you think was great. Pick a number and make it your own. Pick like 2 or 4 or something and make it your number.

That's just how I always did it anyway.

For football, im a QB can only pick 1-20, 9 12 and 8 are taken, I was leaning towards 19 for Miles Austin or 1 because its toolbagish.

Any suggestions?

Roll two 6-sided die and wear the number of the sum. That's what I did for basketball and football way back when. I played basketball before I played football and I rolled a 12, and I coincidentally was born on August 12th.

For football as a CB/FS, I flipped the numbers to 21 since our QB wore 12.

Since 12 and 9 are taken, I'd go with 17 in honor of Dandy Don Meridith. (Unless your last name is Carter, that is)

Ryan Leaf may advise you to pick something else.

Winter training for next years FB starts in my school Dec 1st, the season ends Thanksgiving if we make it to the LI championship this year we lost first game in the playoffs so it ended nov 7th.

I'm a Junior going into my Senior year.

Returning players pick numbers in December.

Long Island, eh? What school do you go to?

Go Sachem Flaming Arrows! heh.

Anyway go with 7. Can't beat lucky number 7. I'm not a big fan of double-digit numbers for a QB for some reason.

On Madden/MLB The Show/Whatever, I always give myself #10 for the year I'll graduate college.

Eli Manning, im from NY and the other QB whom I competing with for starting was #10 last year.

all the reasons to avoid it at all costs.

Go with #17 and honor the great Don Meredith. Also be sure to sing a country song in the huddle too.

Remember that the player makes the number... not the other way around.

I always went with the day i was born for which ever sport i was doing. If 5 was taken i'd do the month (10, which you already shot down) if all else fails break down the year i was born 1987. 19, 8, 7, 16, 17 and any other combination you can come up with.

go with 13 IMO.. no one picks that number any more. plus many think it is unlucky. so pick it unique
