Probably more of a fashion thing than anything else. There is a way to tell time in almost every place you're at and cell phones have them too.

I'm as pro watch/anti relying on cell phones for time as anyone but the idea that wearing a watch makes you classier (and therefore not wearing one means you are less classy) is pretty darn pretentious.

Almost as pretensious as saying "I only wear Movado". :laugh2:

I think you miss-interpreted what I was saying. I think watch wearing is slowly becoming lost. Meaning, it is more than a fashion statement. It is just one of those things, at least for me, that was passed down, from my grandpa. As a man, I was taught, you wear a belt, you carry your wallet, and you wear a watch. I rarely leave the house without those 3. As for "I just wear Movado", that is the type of watch that works for me. I have other watches(brands), they just don't feel right on my wrist.
