Jeff, was this the party at Gilley's? If so, I would definitely like to make the trip next year.

This was actually at the Arlington Convention Center. It's been at Gilley's as long as I can remember up until this year. The Cowboys decided to move it from Gilley's because they didnt think Gilley's was large enough to hold all the people, and holding it right next door to the new stadium was convenient to show people the progress of the new stadium.

I would make the flight to come do that with ample notice to make plans to be there.

No, not just for the cheerleaders, though I admit that helps.

The Cowboys didnt supply my draft guide. I spent weeks gathering player profiles, mock drafts, top-100 lists, my own notes from watching games, and more from Goselin, Mayock, Tony Pauline, Scout.com, Gil Brandt, etc. There were hundreds of pages of info at our fingertips if we needed it......and we did. After Felix Jones was picked, we were checking to see how all the experts rated him. Surprisingly, Gil Brandt was the only expert I could find who had Felix Jones rated higher than Mandenhall. I immediately ran up to Brad Sham to show him Brandt's top-100 list. Even Brad was shocked that Gil Brandt was the only one who had Felix rated higher than Mendenhall.

Anyone can just show up to the event and stand in the general admission area. VIP passes are acquired from the Cowboys by invitation only.
