Ok, Ok...I am a die hard Eagles fan. Have been since the days of Buddy Ryan. I am picking them to win the superbowl. I'm thinking the Steelers might steal my sunshine on that one but hey, they're my team and I'll stick with 'em even though I know there's a good chance they'll choke. I'm a big fan, but not stupid and unrealistic.
Now, that being said, phoenix take notes bro, from a real fan who is biased but not living in fantasy world. If Pinkston wants to pick 'n choose which balls to catch, then that #!@*& better go play golf like HummerMan says. This ain't the sport to wuss out because you have a thirty second thought process (according to you) discovering all the things that can happen to you prior to getting hit. He wussed out plain and simple. And for the money he makes, that's just plain unacceptable.
I hope he gets benched. I don't care if hurts our chances in the play-offs. Not only that, but I think he should be fined by the team for actions detrimental to the team. They almost lost that game and if he would have caught that ball, there's a good chance he would have scored and it wouldn't have been as close at the end. Instead, all of us Eagles faithful had to sit there sweatin' because they almost lost it in the end.
