I think Spiderman had the record before with $114mill and this one got $130+

I guess the originally opened at $77.

I wasn't crazy about it to tell the truth. Saw it tonight. I don't regret it, but I probably won't buy it on DVD.

Haven't seen it yet...didn't think the original was anything to write home about.

I don't get the hype about the films.

I might see it to see the Rocky trailer on the big screen though.

I really liked the first movie, but did not think it was GREAT.

Normally I complain about some movies because they are just too short and don't give enough.

Sometimes however I find some movies are a little too long and tend to drag in some areas. I thought the first one was a little too long and dragged in some areas.

Although I will probably buy the next two just to complete the collection as the wife really liked the first one.

I heard the same thing about Superman and nothing happened. It's a nice little trick to get people to stay through the credits though.

I have come the conclusion that my exp with a movie can be swayed with my expectations before watching the movie.

If I am really wanting to see a new movie and think it is going to be great...chances are it will let me down some almost every time. It is very rare that I expect a movie to be great and it actually be great or better than I expected.

It just gets so hyped up or something and it is hard to live up to the hype many times.

On a flip note there will be movies that I heard were flat out terrible, or looked like they may be. Then upon watching the movie I find out it was decent..nowhere near as bad as I was expecting.

Expectations, at least for me, can play a major part when I see a movie.

I expect 99.9% of most sequels to suck complete and utter arse.

So I went in worried that the movie would bite arse it was not as good as the 1st imo but I did not leave thinking I spent my money on that. It was a solid movie so that I can live with.

Tell me how many sequels are even remotely ok movies not many thats for darn sure.

PS hollywood quit doing freakin remakes of movies that came out in my childhood years I will not waste my money on them.
