It is too late to make any radical changes.

  • Offense
    • 1: Dak will need to run more.
    • 2: Must solve the batted/tipped passes issue.
    • 3: More outside runs for Pollard to stretch defenses horizontally.
    • 4: Quit using Schultz as a blocker.

  • Defense
    • 1: They need a better plan vs running QBs like Tyler Murray.
      • They often used Parsons as a spy on Murray which limited his overall impact on the game.
    • 2: More snaps for Kelvin Joseph.

Problem is when you face good opposing offense they are going to produce.

So we can complain about the defense or whatever it does not matter. Good offenses get theirs in this league and if our offense sputters and does nothing until the end of half’s we’re going to lose.

We’ll be facing good QBs every game in the playoffs and us going behind and abandoning the run and asking Dak to throw a bunch will probably get us sent home but you know it’s something we will do.

#2 on offense: Dak needs to put an arc on his throws or pump fake.

Using our best player on D in such a limited role didn't seem like a good use of him.

Tweaks in the run game are a must. IMO this is the coaching staff's biggest failure this season. Philbin, Moore, and McCarthy have built a very predictable and soft run game and allowed it to persist for most of the season.

If we can just get a lead in the game early, I feel like we win games. If our offense decides drop the ball on a 3rd down or get a **** penalty called on them that stalls a drive. Then we lose. So here is how we beat any team in the league.

1 - Get an early lead
2 - don't drop the ball
3 - hope the refs don't call a penalty on a big 3rd down conversion

If all 3 of those things happen for 3 games in a row we go to SB.

There's part of me that thinks that the staff wanted to be especially vanilla last week, recognizing a potential playoff opponent....and the idea that they were already in.

Not at all saying that's the reason they stunk....

But it's tough to play to not get hurt, not reveal game plans etc....

This is what happens when there's little logical excuse for whats going on here.

This team should be flying high right now and it isn't.

Thats deflating. Worse than last year.

Same as how the blown byes were worse than the losing years.

I'm still not good with it all but I'm getting there. Sigh.

....get more offensive tackles in the game, better blocking schemes for TE's. Jarwin is back, best blocking TE. Then run the ball, they are loading the box anyways, no surprises.

Schultz sucks *** as blocker. If we cant establish a run game, will be very difficult moving forward.

Seeing Schultz trying to block Chandler Jones last week was comical!! What was our coach thinking? o_O

I agree with all of this. Dak runs as a last resort now but it would be good if they called some QB draws or if he see the opportunity early to just take off. Maybe a couple of 15 yard runs will back the defense off a little bit. I think the batted balls issue is a function of the OL getting pushed back into the pocket to some degree. Big yes to #3. Pollard breaking off a few long runs outside will change the defense. Asking Schultz to block DEs like Chandler Jones is like asking me to lift 500 lbs. It's futile.

I thought about using Parsons as a spy on Murray but I think they want him rushing up the middle where he can be effective flushing him out of the pocket. The problem is, when he does that the DEs< Lawrence and Gregory have to be in position to cut him off and make the sack. The problem with Gregory is he is an undisciplined pass rusher. He has great talent, but he need to keep it under control. He gets caught inside too many times allow the offenses to get outside him. When he does stay in his rushing lane he gets too deep allowing the QB to step up or run inside him. They may be better off backing off the rush a little and anticipating Murray running more.

And discipline on the O-Line. These holds on big plays have to stop. I am not sure if the refs look for this intentionally or what. But it sucks..

Quit giving up on the run and go off tackle. Use a sweep or pitch. Get bodies in motion. Maybe try Jarwin on some plays to block or Sprinkle.

Quit the WR screens. It’s going to be picked in the playoffs. It was in the past.

Keep the Defense aggressive. Bring heat and go man. Cover the middle of the field. We win that game if we were aggressive on Defense. We left Parsons spying the whole game. Put everyone deep like prevent. Left the middle open. All he had to do was drop it over the middle in a zone. Freaking man up and send Parsons. He will force the throw. It’s how we get turn overs.

If we are lucky enough to play packers we better turn them loose on him..

And also I liked seeing Dak take the game in his hands and running with it. But we have to remember when he did in the past there is that occasional fumble from behind. But will happen less times now he is getting in the grove..

The only plan I can see or hope for is for dak to get knocked out and rush comes in and Foles us to a win in the super bowl.

Jarwin best blocking TE? No one believes that. Not even Jarwin.

Lol, I definitely hear your focus...but straight about switching out now on the starting QB, just go ahead and fire the Head Coach. At that point, he already lost his team and his role with them. Nothing less..tell him to go find his own job, if that were to happen.
