Hey, Jason, or Bill, or Tony, whoever is calling the plays, isn't it amazing how much easier it is to throw behind the linebackers if they are worried about the run?

You can't just run the ball, as the Giants found out, but you have to run it enough to keep the linebackers interested in what the running back is going to do.

One interesting thing today is that the Cowboys passed when Romo was under center. I believe the Cowboys have only passed twice when Romo was under center during this game. I think they figured out that teams were preying on this tendency and ran some successful play action out of it.

We even mixed it up today. Passed on 1st down, ran on 2nd down. The play calling felt much more balanced today. It wasn't just pass...pass...pass...or run, run, pass.

Also different today is that we attacked the seams a bit more than in previous games. I think the Cowboys did some good work over the bye week.
