Claiborne hasn't played the last 8-1/2 games. Combine that with our wildcard bye, and he might be a liability in pass coverage. I'd be wary of playing him for any meaningful amount of snaps unless he can show something against the Eagles.

Welp, that would explain the thin practice then. We will be pretty light on defense this weekend 7 DNPs & 2 LTDs in today's practice.

Looking for an update on Anthony Brown too. Must not be that critical if they don't bother to mention it. Still would like to hear that he is okay.
He's in concussion protocol and won't play this week (read that somewhere, but don't ask me to post the link because I don't remember where). He should certainly be a go for the playoffs as will everyone else, it seems. We just need to get through philly injury free, then we're as set as we could possibly hope to be.

The fact that he's waiting for the divisional round to play for the first time in 2-1/2 months is worrisome. I think he's going to be a liability out there.
I share in your concern. I would think that they'll push him really hard in the practices leading up to the first playoff game, though. I know that practice isn't the same as a game, but you have to play the hand you've been dealt. I think he'll play sparingly in the Divisional round and be in much better playing shape for the NFCCC. :)

As long as things don't go bad in Philly, of course.

One of the benefits of having a really young team. Health late in the season.

(Fingers crossed)

I hope they treat it as the meaningless game that it is and get the starters out of there quickly. I'm fine with keeping them in their routine leading up to the playoffs, but there's nothing to gain and plenty to lose.
